Our Mission
The Patrons and Players Fund exists to support the extracurricular endeavors of worthy students through financial donations from individuals and families. We believe that no student should be left on the sidelines based on financial need and we strive to find donors who are as passionate as we are that all students deserve a chance to play.
Becoming a Patron
The success of Patrons and Players rests with the individuals who commit to making a difference in the lives of our Players. We ask our Patrons to invest $35 per month into our pooled resource fund, which is dispersed by our governing board of Playmakers. Our Playmakers use the criteria set forth in our manual of operations to identify and support worthy Players in the Huntsville City Schools community. While we cannot cover all expenses for all Players, we seek to fill as many needs as possible by recruiting Patrons just like you! Ready to get involved?
Becoming a Player
Students residing in the Huntsville City, Madison City or Madison County school districts who wish to participate in extracurricular activities but are limited by finances are eligible for a Patrons and Players scholarship. Activities that we support include but are not limited to school, club and city league sports as well as music, drama and art extracurriculars. While we strive to fill as many needs as possible, we are limited by the donations of our Patrons.
